As part of our social response, BDB set up The BDB Foundation in 2000. A recognised charitable trust, the mission of this Foundation is to promote love for animals, by creating awareness about animals in our society. Everyone connected with the Foundation believes that unless we, as a society, treat our animals kindly, we cannot lay claim to being socially, culturally or even economically progressive.

The BDB Foundation is constantly striving to make a difference in every possible way. This Directory, in its 2nd Edition, is a step towards the cause we strongly believe in. This Directory is for everybody, especially those who love animals and have their welfare at heart.
